All seven counties in Metro Denver reported over-the-year decreases in the unemployment rate in February. Adams and Arapahoe counties reported the largest drop of 1.4% over-the-year. The Metro Denver unemployment rate has remained below 3% for 10 consecutive months.
Denver International Airport announced that over 5.5 million passengers were served in January, a 29.1% increase from January 2022. The airport set a new record for passengers served in 2022 and is primed to increase traffic volume in the coming year.
Foreclosures fell 27.3% in Metro Denver as the housing market continues to normalize after the end of the eviction protections enacted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
